The Makita AVT 17 lb demolition hammer is powered by a powerful 14 Amp motor that delivers up to 12.7 ft-lb of impact energy for most demanding applications. Anti-Vibration Technology has an internal counterbalance system that reduces vibration to great extent. The ergonomically designed handle is provided with soft rubberized grip so that the user can work for long duration without any fatigue. The electronic controller offers soft start that suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and longer gear life. LED service light gives caution approximately 8 hours before brushes need to be replaced and also the LED power light indicates switch failure or cord damage. Extended life brushes are longer means more work between service intervals and minimal downtime. The 12 bit angle settings allow the bit to be set at different positions based on application requirements. Detached rear handle is spring loaded so that it provides less vibration and more control. It includes bull point, tool case and bit grease. The easy-to-operate slide switch increases productivity and minimizes down time. Side handle rotates 360 degree for enhanced maneuverability.
